Running My First Social Media Campaign: Lessons & Mistakes
Launching my first social media campaign was a mix of strategy, creativity, and learning through trial and error. I created a week-long content plan for Instagram, designed posts in Canva, and scheduled everything using Buffer. My goal was to increase engagement and grow my audience — and I did see some good traction on carousels and story polls.
But I also made mistakes, like inconsistent posting times and underusing hashtags. Those missteps taught me how important planning, timing, and interaction are. While the campaign wasn’t perfect, it gave me a much better understanding of how to approach social media with intention and purpose.
